Who writes our content?
Our pages are written for the clinic in plain English, with international patients and parents in mind. Writers work from the clinic’s own information — services, equipment, hours and processes — and from published professional guidance. Pages explain general topics; they never give individual advice.
Who reviews it before publication?
Every page that discusses diagnosis or treatment is medically reviewed by a specialist in that field before it goes live:
- Orthodontic, aligner, condition, guide and international-patient pages: Dr. Sally Chaekyung Lee, DDS, PhD , board-certified orthodontist (Korea Ministry of Health and Welfare), adjunct professor of orthodontics at Yonsei University and a 2026 peer reviewer for the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics . Her publications are listed under research and awards .
- Pediatric dentistry pages: Dr. Ho-seon Lee , board-certified pediatric dentist (Korea Ministry of Health and Welfare) and our Director of Pediatric Dentistry.
The reviewer’s name and the date of the last review appear at the end of each page. Practical pages — contact details, directions, this policy and our FAQ — are checked against clinic records and carry a “Last updated” date instead.
What sources do we rely on?
Clinical content follows mainstream guidance from professional bodies such as the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), the American Dental Association (ADA) and the International Association of Dental Traumatology (IADT). For Korean insurance and regulation we use official sources such as the National Health Insurance Service.
Where evidence varies, we describe ranges and factors rather than precise figures, and we say when something depends on an examination. We do not present clinic-specific claims we cannot verify.
How do we keep content up to date?
Each page is reviewed at least once a year, and sooner when professional guidance, Korean rules or our own services, hours or equipment change. When a page changes in substance, its review date is updated.
Advertising and independence
We do not publish sponsored content, paid placements or affiliate links. Brand names such as Invisalign and Angel Aligner appear because they are systems we use in treatment. We follow the medical advertising rules of Korea’s Medical Service Act and, as a matter of policy, publish no patient testimonials or reviews, no prices or discounts, and no superlative or comparative claims.
Patient cases and images
Clinical photographs in our before and after cases are published only with the patient’s consent, and every case notes that results vary and treatment carries risks. Some pages use stock photographs for illustration; these are not our patients or staff, and their descriptions say so.
Corrections and feedback
If you think something on this website is inaccurate or out of date, please email isu.ysbaro@gmail.com with the page address and what you noticed. Our specialists review each report and correct the page where needed. Questions about your own teeth are best answered at an examination, and our medical disclaimer explains why. How we handle the information you send is described in our privacy policy .
