Yonsei Baro Orthodontic Clinic collects only the personal information needed to answer your enquiry and arrange your appointment, and handles it under Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act. This page explains what we collect through this website, why, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights.

Yonsei Baro Orthodontic Clinic (이수연세바로치과교정과의원), which operates this website as Yonsei Baro Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry, is responsible for the personal information described here. This is an English version of the clinic’s Korean privacy policy, adapted to the contact form on this website.
What information do we collect?
When you use the form on our contact page , we collect:
- Required: your name and email address.
- Optional: your WhatsApp or phone number, appointment details (such as preferred dates, who the appointment is for and the treatment you are asking about) and your message.
If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp, KakaoTalk or email instead, we receive the details you choose to send, such as your name, number and message. Please share only what is needed to arrange your appointment; detailed health information is best discussed at the clinic. When you become a patient, the clinic keeps medical records as required by Korea’s Medical Service Act.
Why do we use it?
We use your information only to reply to your enquiry, to arrange, confirm or change appointments, and to contact you about them. We do not use it for any other purpose without your consent.
How long do we keep it?
Information sent through this website is deleted without delay once its purpose has been achieved — for example, when your enquiry has been answered or your appointment arranged — unless a law requires us to keep it longer. Medical records created when you are treated at the clinic are kept for the periods set by the Medical Service Act.
Do we share it with anyone?
We do not provide your personal information to third parties, except where you have consented or where the law requires it.
This website, including its contact form, runs on a website platform that stores form submissions for us. Messages you send through WhatsApp or KakaoTalk are also handled under those services’ own privacy policies.
How is information destroyed?
When personal information is no longer needed, we destroy it without delay: electronic files are permanently deleted so they cannot be restored, and paper records are destroyed.

This website may use essential cookies set by the website platform so that pages load and work correctly. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the site may then not work as intended.
What are your rights?
You may ask at any time to see, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop us processing it. You can also withdraw your consent. If a child under 14 wants to contact us, a parent or legal guardian should submit the form on the child’s behalf.
