How do I get to Yonsei Baro from Seorae Village?

By taxi or car

Seorae Village and our clinic are both in Seocho-gu, so a taxi or car is often the simplest door-to-door option — especially with younger children or straight after school. Show the driver our Korean address, 서울 서초구 동작대로 118 방배예다인프라자 4층, or paste it into a taxi app. If you drive, parking is available; just mention it when you book.

By subway

Line 7 links Express Bus Terminal with Isu Station, running through Naebang on the way. At Isu, follow the signs for Exit 2: the clinic is about a 1-minute walk, with direct underground access. Our directions page has map links and a taxi card you can screenshot.

What do Seorae and Banpo families ask us about?

Seorae Village, in Banpo-dong, is known for its French-speaking community. International families from the area often ask us about the following:

Is my child’s bite developing normally?

The American Association of Orthodontists suggests a first orthodontic check around age 7, while baby and adult teeth are mixed. Often the answer is simply to monitor growth; sometimes a habit appliance, space management or growth guidance is worth considering at the right time. See kids’ orthodontics and Invisalign First for younger children.

Who looks after younger children’s teeth?

Check-ups, cleanings, fluoride, sealants and fillings for children are led by Dr. Ho-seon Lee, a board-certified pediatric dentist. Let us know when you book that you’d like English support — Dr. Sally Chaekyung Lee and our team can help explain your child’s care in English. See kids’ dentistry .

Fitting visits around school and work

After-school and evening appointments are available until 9 PM on Mondays and Thursdays, and on Saturdays from 9 AM to 2 PM. Braces check-ups are usually about every 4–6 weeks and aligner check-ups about every 6–10 weeks, so regular visits don’t have to disrupt the school term. Seorae Village & Banpo FAQs

  • How do I get to Yonsei Baro from Seorae Village?

A taxi is often the simplest option: show the driver our Korean address, 서울 서초구 동작대로 118 방배예다인프라자 4층. By subway, take Line 7 towards Isu — it runs from Express Bus Terminal through Naebang to Isu — and leave by Exit 2. The clinic is about a 1-minute walk from the exit, with direct underground access.

  • Is there an English-speaking orthodontist close to Banpo?

Yes. At Yonsei Baro, orthodontic care is provided by Dr. Sally Chaekyung Lee, a board-certified orthodontist who speaks fluent English and handles every consultation and treatment explanation herself. The clinic is in Seocho-gu, like Banpo-dong, at Isu Station Exit 2. You can book in English by WhatsApp or email.

  • Can we have our consultation in French?

We work in English and Korean, and we don’t offer French-language consultations. Dr. Sally Chaekyung Lee explains orthodontic findings and options in English. If it helps, send your questions by WhatsApp or email before your visit and we’ll reply in writing, so you can read the answers at your own pace.

  • We’re in Seoul for a few years — can our child start orthodontic treatment here?

Often, yes. Tell us how long you expect to stay and Dr. Lee will explain what can realistically be achieved in that time. If you move before treatment is complete, we prepare full English records, digital 3D scans, X-rays and progress notes, and can contact your next orthodontist directly when needed.

  • Is there parking if we drive from Seorae Village?

Yes, parking is available for patients. Please mention that you’re coming by car when you book, so we can let you know what to expect. For in-car navigation, enter the Korean address rather than the English one, as it’s recognised more reliably by Korean map systems.
